Returning on-campus students & blended Higher Education students - You will be sent an enrolment survey before the next trimester starts. Simply select whether you are happy to continue or would like to withdraw/defer/make changes to your enrolment.

Student Appointments

You can make an appointment with your Program Manager if you need advice or guidance with academic issues in your course. Appointments can be made through Student Services. Check your course page for details of your Program Manager.

Practical Experience - Clinic Placement

Nutritional Medicine, Naturopathy, Western Herbal Medicine, Massage

Whatever your study mode, you are eligible to complete your clinical hours at one of our campuses in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

If you do not study on campus you will need to contact one of our clinical co-ordinators to get your external supervisor approved or organise attending campus.

Think Education requires all students to have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate before undertaking clinical placement. Please submit a copy of your Working With Children Check/Blue Card and First Aid Certificate before commencing your clinical subject.

Health Science

Health Science clinical subjects are completed on campus.


First Aid

Think has recently started offering a First Aid course, there are also many external providers through whom you can obtain your First Aid certificate.
Once completed please submit to Student Services along with a Course Credit application form.

Acceptable First Aid codes are HLTFA311A, HLTFA301C, HLTAID003.
First Aid Statements of Attainments with the code HLTAID004 will not be accepted unless it has been clearly stated that the unit of competency HLTAID003 was included in the full day course or a letter is provided by the RTO that states as such.

For Certificate IV Massage Students please note: The cost of First Aid is included in your course. If you complete your First Aid course on campus no additional fees are charged. If you complete your First Aid course externally you are entitled to a refund via the Refund Application form. This application must be supported by a receipt that proves payment was made.


Working with Children Check (WWCC)

The Working with Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory for all ACNT students before beginning any sort of clinic, whether on-campus or through external placement.

The checking system is run on a state or territory level and is required for each state/territory where placement is performed.

The Queensland WWCC is known as a Blue Card and requires a signature from a college representative. Students within 50kms of the Brisbane campus can ask the campus service desk for a signature after providing a valid form of ID. Students unable to attend the Brisbane campus must also complete the Identification Verification by a Prescribed Third Party form and post both to Brisbane campus at: 
Student Services, Locked Bag No. 3, Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006, Brisbane.
