Student Hub: Getting Started

Welcome to Torrens University Australia and Think Education. This page has all the steps you need as a new student to get started on your university journey.

The steps

Congratulations! Your offer letter has been sent to your personal email address or to your agent.

Follow the instructions in the offer letter to accept and finalise your enrolment, including the payment section.

Within 48 hours of your enrolment being finalised, you will receive an email from Microsoft Office 365 containing your student email address and instructions on how to activate your account.

For new students in eligible courses, your Adobe license will be allocated to you at the same time as your student email.

MyHub is your personalised student dashboard with all your key information, like your timetable and shortcuts to everything you need, all in one place.

Simply log in to MyHub by signing in with your student email and password.

In the Student Portal you can enrol into your subjects, view your financials and update your personal details.

To enrol in your subjects, log in to the Student Portal with your student email and password.

Your online learning platform is where you can access your course and subject content, submit assessments, interact with other students, and your learning facilitators.

You may use two different online learning platforms depending on the subject you are enrolled in: Blackboard or our new platform, MyLearn.

Log into either Blackboard or MyLearn with your student email and password.

Orientation week is run over multiple days and is designed to give you everything you need to make the best possible start to your learning journey. It is the best way to prepare for what’s ahead, connect with other students and explore the range of support services available.

A tip from us: Our virtual orientation sessions are available on demand after the event if you are studying online or can't make the in person one for any reason.

If you missed out on getting your Student ID card at Orientation, reach out to our amazing Student Services team at your nearest campus.

If this is not an option, we can mail one to you.

Please email Student Services and include:

  • Your full name, student number and postal address
  • A high-resolution passport style photo
