The following tabs provide useful information to help you understand your grades.

Grades are released a few weeks after the end of the study period. Please don't forget

that you can view your grades on 'The Spot' or 'The Poolroom'

Notation Description

What this means

Competent

C

Competent is awarded to a student who has achieved all of the learning outcomes specified for the subject to the required standard. 

You have successfully met the competency requirement for this subject. Well done. 

Not Yet Competent 

NYC

Not Yet Competent is awarded to a student who has attempted all the assessment items but failed to achieve all of the learning outcomes specified for the subject to the required standard. 

This study period you received an unsatisfactory final grade for a subject/s. Don’t panic! You will need to repeat and complete this subject in order to finish your course.

The first step is to re-enrol into this subject for the upcoming trimester. Subjects should be studied in the recommended order. If you are not sure what else to enrol into contact student services or your Program Manager for a study plan.

Withdrawn Discontinued

WDIS

The student has withdrawn or failed to attempt all assessment items.

This study period you have withdrawn or didn’t attempt all required assessments. Don’t panic! You will need to repeat and complete this subject in order to qualify for the award.

The first step is to re-enrol into this subject for the upcoming trimester. Subjects should be studied in the recommended order. If you are not sure what else to enrol into contact student services or your Program Manager for a study plan.
