What has happened with VET funding

In January 2017 a new funding scheme was introduced to replace VET FEE-HELP.

This new VET Student Loans scheme is available for selected VET courses and providers. It means that some courses are no longer funded and loan caps have been introduced.

Take a look at student communications in the left hand toolbar on this page to find out more about the recent changes.

All of the information about VET Student Loans that is currently available for students can be accessed on the Government website: http://www.education.gov.au/vet-student-loans

Don't get locked out!

6 March, 2017 update

If you want to use VET FEE-HELP but have not opted-in, you have until Census Date (10 March 2017) to do so. Failure to contact us before Census will result in your Blackboard account being suspended.

If you have not received correspondence from the Department of Education and Training (DET)

16 February, 2017 update

If you have checked your inbox - and spam folder - and cannot find any communication from DET, submit an enquiry to DET requesting a passkey immediately.

This enquiry will let the Department know that you are intending to continue using VET FEE-HELP as your payment type.

Submit your request via the ‘I still need help’ page on the VET FEE-HELP opt-in website at:

When you submit an enquiry to the DET requesting a passkey, please let us know by sending us a copy of the email that you sent through. Please include your Student ID number and send it through to support@tua.edu.au.
